With the development of embedded technology, Security industry has been greatly improved. Currently embedded technology has been widely applied in the CCTV matrix control system, which makes the product more intelligent, future products will advance in digital, networked, intelligent, mobile, integrated integration direction.At this stage CCTV matrix control system use RS232, RS485, CAN bus protocol when communicate with each other. These protocols have many limitations such as communication distance, multi-faceted square error and other factors restrictions. This design used Ethernet in the cascade, TCP/IP protocol can be a good way to solve bus encountered trouble.This paper designed a Linux-ARM-based CCTV matrix control system, the system mainly consists of video source acquisition module, signal transmission module, the control processing module, video display module. This paper introduced these four modules, respectively analyzed the interface of control processing module. And meanwhile the hardware and software of the module was achieved.In this paper the following aspects were mainly studied:(1)The topology and the means of communication of the entire system CCTV have been analyzed. the communication protocols of RS232, RS485, TCP/IP have been studied.(2)Researched the ARM processor-based hardware platform and designed serial port, Ethernet port and related communication interface circuit.(3)The kernel and file system of Linux were further studied. Detailed researched the bootloader functional of Linux system. And at the same time researched to shear, compiled and programmed Linux kernel and file system.(4)Designed the serial and network communication. Realized the communication between the ARM processor and keyboard, at the same time realized the communication between the control systems.(5) Tested the whole system in detail. Familiar with the corresponding test methods, test procedures, tracked and modified the bug of the system based on the test results.
