The development of information technology helps the industrial control network become digital and open. The fieldbus technology is the result of this situation. The development of the fieldbus technology leads to several kinds of international standards, but they are incompatible to each other, in consequence, the openness and the interoperability of the fieldbus cannot be realized. When the development of the fieldbus becomes slow, the industrial Ethernet develops very fast. If the Ethernet technology is applied in the industrial control network, the architecture of the industrial networks will be changed and the seamless connection of the office automation and the industrial automation will be realized.The combination of embedded technology and industrial Ethernet, developing the industrial Ethernet interface will help the industrial field equipment to be a network node. In this paper, the industrial Ethernet is taken as the study object Developing the Ethernet interface and the realization of TCP/IP protocol stack in the embedded system are studied in this paper. First, the history and the research situation of the industrial control system and the industrial control networks are introduced in this paper, then the development direction of the industrial Ethernet, the advantage and the problem of the industrial Ethernet, the protocol architecture of the industrial Ethernet are analyzed. The working principle of network bottom interface is studied. Then an industrial Ethernet interface based on 32-bit MCU and embedded real-time operating system is designed. The network monitoring based on Browser/Server mode in industrial control is studied, and the dynamic data communication technology between the embedded web server and browser, the principle of file access in embedded system are studied in this paper. The embedded web server and the concise web file system are designed and the bidirectional data communication between the field equipment and the client by B/S mode is realized. Using the Java Applet technology in the embedded web server, displaying real-time data by graphics and dynamic updating in the browser is realized.
