Research And Design Of Light Guide Plate With Microlen Array On PC、PMMA

With the development of science and technology, the application oflight guide plate has been used more and more widely. The purpose oflight guide plate is steering the light to the specific direction andobtaining ideal luminous effect. The most universal application lightguide plates in the market are using the optical PC or PMMA plate as thebase material, and printing light guide spots in bottom surface. Whenlight irradiating on the surface of light guide plate, the light guide spotschange its the original travelling direction, and make the light shine outalong the designed direction. We can get different luminous effect bychanging the size and arrangement of the spots. Because of the superiorproperties of light guide plate, it has been widely used. Light guide plateplays an important part in advertising, furniture, construction,transportation, medical field and so on. With the rapid development of industies, the requirment of light guide plate is growing very fast, so theindustry of light guide plate has very good market development prospect.Basing on the traditional fabrication mothed of light guide plate, ourthesis innovates in the arrangement of the light guide spots by a opticalsoftware—LightTools. We design the spots in a nonuniform way on thesurface of light guide plate,. Through changing the size, space,arrangement and other parameters of the spots in the software, we cansimulate the optical experiment to observe the change of illumination.Wedesign the spots arrangement of uniform emergent light and highilluminance. Combined with the practical application, the light guideplate designed in this thesis can be widely used in indoor lighting systemand the matched mirror of automobile lamps and the other fields. It candecrease the divergence angle of emergent light effectively, which makethe illumination of emergent light distributed more evenly, therebyreducing the influence to dirvers caused by glare when driving in night,improving the automobile’s safety performance in a certain extent.
