From The News Commentary Of The Beijing News To See The Media Expression Of Public Intellectuals

In recent years, the topic of public intellectuals has been controversial. However, many studies are aimed at this group in qualitative research. Based on the study of 618 news commentaries on the opinion pages of the Beijing News by content analysis, author study and text analysis, it finds that on one hand public intellectuals in the public media of our country show a positive attitude to express and public sentiment concerning about the social reality also a rational style of narrative form. On the other hand, there are some shortcomings about perspectives of the commentary, issues of their choosing and modes of discourse. To take a quantitative and qualitative research on the media expression of public intellectuals in order to get a proper media image of public intellectuals and give some suggestions to public intellectuals'media expression, which is the article keynote.
