China is shortage of water. Fresh water is becoming scarce. utilization of water, protecting the ecological environment, maintaining the harmony between human and nature have become a common mission in the 21st century. In order to save water countries around the world have taken methods to accelerate the transformation of water-saving irrigation system. Automatic control technology which using sensors to monitor soil moisture and green vegetation growth can effectively improve the utilization of water which alleviating the water crisis. Compared to wired devices, ZigBee technology is of low complexity, low power, low cost, easy to carry, without wiring and so on. It has being involved in industrial control, consumer electronics devices, environmental monitoring, agriculture, automation, medical equipment control and other fields. This file contains the following contents:The author makes a Analysis and comparison of domestic and foreign water-saving irrigation control system. This file try to contruct a water-saving irrigation control system based on ZigBee technology. The author deeply study the IEEE802.15.4 specification, including its physical layer, the media control layer and the other related files. It is the most important mission to build a wireless network basing on platform provided by TI which containing MCU, ZigBee Stack and related tools. This wireless network are composed of wireless sensor nodes, valve control nodes, the gateway nodes. User Interface application is beening developed by Visual Basic language. System has been testing in the lawn in front of main building of Beijing Forestry University. Results show that:the system is reliable. It can be used for green real-time monitoring of soil moisture. Water-saving could be achieved if parameters be set reasonablely.
