Research Of Soil Moisture Forecast Model And Precise Irrigation Control System

Consulting and comparing a lot of documents about soil moisture forecast model, considering that soil moisture is easy to obtain and its change contains the change of meteorology and plants’ growing, and kowning that soil moisture is a system with large delay, this paper proposed a soil moisture forecast model based on BP algorithm according to soil moisture of different layers and time.From2010.3～2010.11and2011.3～2011.11at experimental nursery of Beijing forestry university, this paper collected13000soil moisture data at10cm,30cm and50cm.Its half is to establish soil moisture forecast model, the other half to verify the model’s accuracy. Finally, this paper establish a three-layer BP soil moisture forecast model. The experiment’s result illustrates that this model can forecast accurately and can basically forecast the rhythmic of soil moisture.To apply this model into reality, this paper design a precise irrigation control system based on ARM and linux platform with a good human-computer interface. The result of system’s operation illustrates that this system can carry on precise and timely irrigation.
