Along with the development of Internet technology, traditional education models have got rid of the model of class learning and have become interested in E-learning. E-learning is a popular way for teaching and learning. It provides a platform and is based on Web, from which students can get various kinds of educational resource.Based on the traditional education models, the Real Time Teaching Platform on Web is brought forward. Some important points were researched and implemented:By the basic constituents of instructional system design, a business model which can be used on Real-time Teaching Platform was inferred. The architecture and functions are obtained by the model, and then Real-time teaching function and support teaching is implemented. A living example had run on the platform to show the running process of the platform.Real time Communication function can supply a real time text platform, in which Students can ask questions about the class or others, and teachers can give the answer or feedback in time. Stream Broadcasting can be an important method, which shows the video and audio stream to students. White Board is an additional method for teaching, it makes teaching more effectively. The core of three functions is Real-Time. Besides, Flex and FMS,ExtJS and Pushlet are adopted to implement Real-Time communication.Support Teaching implements the procedure of teaching design on the web teaching platform, and supplies data about teaching patterns on some steps which can be treated as help for teaching design.
