In recent years, with the rapid development of modern information technology, the appliaction of multimedia technology and network technology in education and teaching is wider and deeper than before, therefore, traditional Web-based interactive teaching platform network technology can not fully meet the demands of users.The traditional one often use the development model, which used ASP, JSP or PHP technology to content of user interfaces and server-side process business logic and data. This development model has many defects, such as the single user interface, frequent refreshing the user interface greatly reduces the user experience and interaction, uses JavaScript causes the browser compatibility is not good, increases the amount of the developer's programming, affecting development efficiency, business logic and data processing are concentrated in the server-side,causes the server overload and can not timely respond to client requests and other issues. The emergence of RIA technology improves the user experience and interaction, to solve the browser compatibility issues and the problem of server-side overload, therefore, RIA technology applied to the network interactive teaching platform, will make the platform to achieve better overall effect.This paper made a system learning of the related theory of RIA from many aspects, got a profound understanding of technology features and architecture model in RIA. It described the background, current status and research significance of studying this topic; then the paper briefly introduced origin, definition, advantages and technical characteristics of the RIA, it also deeply introduced the current main RIA technology programs, comparison and analysis of these programs, choosing the appropriate RIA technology; and then focus on Flex and Ajax technology, explained MVC model and J2EE technical architecture, the RIA and J2EE technology will combine to achieve the development of network interactive teaching platform, proposed basing on Flex+Spring+Hibernate application development model framework, the overall design in the platform and the design of the database, through the use of Flex to build the presentation layer, Spring manage the business logic layer, Hibernate apply for data persistence operations, in-depth study RIA technology in the implementation of network interactive teaching platform, analysis of the characteristics and performance of the platform. The practice shows that the Flex+Spring+Hibernate application development model framework is not only improve the development efficiency of the network interactive teaching platform, maintainability and scalability, but also provide a better user experience and interaction.
