With the popularity of computer software systems and digital signal processing technology development, network-based remote experiment system came into being. The virtual instrument integration of a variety of techniques in software technology, test technology and instrumentation technology has irreplaceable advantages in the field of professional tests and personal laboratories. Virtual instruments consist primarily of two parts, software and hardware to expand and achieve traditional hardware systems to become a new instrument mode. Thus greatly reducing the cost of its development, openness and reusability, improve utilization, also be used for remote access and interactive operation.The paper integrated technology trends and remote platform needs, use a rich client technology the Flex to design a remote virtual instrument. Firstly, analyze virtual instrument development at home and abroad at this stage, the need of studying remote virtual instrument; analyze the advantages of the Flex development techniques and methods; Secondly, discusses the design of the overall structure of the remote virtual instrumentation systems; design the entire instrument of remote virtual signal generator and remote virtual oscilloscope, buttons, knobs, and display panel, real instrument interface virtualization of traditionalfully simulate the operation of the instrument and experimental results View. Then, design the webservice communication module and information exchange agreements, and virtual instrument interface, remote Web server and the local ARM server integration and communication. Finally, the virtual instrument remote experimental platform integration and realize virtual instrument remote use in the experimental system and the results of view.The virtual instrument base on the Flex developer, the core of the remote virtual experimental system, meet the virtual reality instruments and functional requirements. Remote virtual instrument makes remote virtual experiment platform more popular.
