Workflow Platform Based On EJB For Power Plant

Workflow technology is widely used in the information construction of power generation enterprise. However, many existing workflow systems have the close coupling problems between the business processes and specific procedures. In order to solve this problem and provide convenience for system's management and maintenance, this paper presents a workflow platform based on EJB component technology. This paper has made a thorough study on the workflow technology from the workflow principles, reference model, operation model and other aspects on the beginning. Then, combining the power enterprises' business features, an overall design of workflow system was made from the function structure and system level aspects. According to the demand and the overall design plan, the design ideas and the core algorithm of the two important modules in workflow platform, the flow modeling module and the workflow engine module, are given a detailed description. Finally, the system is implemented using the EJB component technology and a real flow is used to test the system to make sure the system's availability and process development's high efficiency.
