Research On Workflow Technology And The Modeling And Design Of Lightweight Workflow Engine

Workflow Technology is a new technology in the field of Computer Support Cooperative Work (CSCW), and it is the key technology with which enterprises realize business process modeling, managing and finally the automation of the business process. The research of workflow technology has great significance to the recomposition of enterprise business process and the development of CSCW technology.During the development of Workflow Technology, new ideas and methods appear, and meanwhile new research topics are brought out, among which flexibility of workflow model and dynamic control in the operation of workflow are the important ones. The paper introduces the basis of the workflow management technology and the automation model, and then analyzes the flexibility model of workflow. By analyzing the actual requirement, on the principle of easiness, adequacy, simpleness and flexibility, the paper presents a lightweight workflow engine on the basis of relation database. The paper analyzes the workflow model in detailed by dividing it into three components, namely organization model, information model and control model, and presents correlative expressing methods of organization model and information model. By extending the attribute of the key nod, the model can support dynamic control of workflow, dynamic adjustment of the workflow route, dynamic distribution of resource, and realizes automation of workflow.
