TV variety entertainment programs imitation exists between countries in the world. It has become a common phenomenon. Mainland China started relatively late in the variety entertainment programs in the late nineties of the last century, but it achieved initial success on the Imitation of foreign programs. Then quickly it became a major programming model among television stations.This article consists of four parts. The first chapter describes the existence and development of the phenomenon of variety entertainment programs mimic,the relations with foreign programs and the localization process corresponds to the problems. Chapter two analyzes the morphological reconstruction for the variety of entertainment programs. Chapter three focuses on the cultural value reconstruction of variety entertainment shows. Chapter four probes into the transformation and reflection for localization, summerizes the experiences and lessons and finally points out some problems which exists in the process of imitation requiring consideration.The thesis considers that in the process of recreational TV program imitation, the program needs to be reconstructed by forms, for the influence from cultural background, total cost and human resources. The forms reconstruction process should act up to the principles of policy,appropriation,location and innovation. Moreover,the cultural differences and ideology should also be took into consideration. In the cultural value part, the program needs to be reconstructed by valuation, for it is also influenced by cultrual differences, policy background,marketing condition and value orientation. The valuation reconstruction process should follow the rules of individuality and generality, individualism and collectivism, popular and vugal.In addition, cultural differences should also be took into account. To variety entertainment programs conducted outside imitation to learn the process, The form and value is needed to be reconstructed and integrated into the local characteristics, to find their own audience targeting, market positioning, only innovation and converted into something of their own is advisable.
