Data acquisition and control unit is an important part of the Microwave radiometer system on the offshore oil platform. It can collect and process the signal, control the working state of the system according to the need, and communicate with the computer through the serial port. The main work of this paper is to realize the measurement of the radiometer's temperature, the control of the radiometer's antenna and receiver by using FPGA and MCU technology. By full use of the advantages of the two processors, it can make the system much smaller, cheaper and run faster. The details are as following:(1) Briefly introduce the subject' background of the research, and make the demand analysis of the design.(2) Make the whole design plans of the Data acquisition and control unit according to the demands and the purpose, and analyze whether the plans can meet the expected target.(3) In the design of FPGA, the platform is Quartus Ilof Altera, and the soft language is Verilog HDL, meanwhile, use the Modelsim simulation platform and testbench to do the timing and functional simulation. In the design of MCU, the platform is Medwin. And in the design of PC's receive and control interface, the platform is Microsoft Visual C++and the soft language is C++.(4) Make the interference analysis of the circuit board and at last produce the board according to the needs of the subject and the wiring layout principles.(5) At the end, test the result of the Data acquisition and control unit. The accuracy and speed can meet the design requirements and the control unit can finish the task.Use the cooperation technology of FPGA and MCU to collect signal and control system. FPGA have the advantages of logic ability, speed and design flexibility, and MCU have some other advantages such as cheap, stability, and the control ability.
