The Numerical Control System obtained the widespread application in the industry and mining domain, it processes the digitized information and transforms it into the pulse signal to control stepping motors, then control the numerical machine tool movement. Along with the development of embedded system technology, we can design an embedded system of which the scale is slightly, the cost is lower, and the function is more specific to complete the work of the traditional Computer Numerical Control system. The stepping motor is the important component of the Numerical Control System, because of the characteristic such as high precision, easily controlling, localization accurate, working rapidly and reliable, and can accept the digital signal. However according to the characteristic of stepping motors, we must adjust the velocity suitably and effectively, also the speed control and the pulse assignment is worthy to study, specially in the multi-axes moving system. In this article, I will introduce an optimized algorithm about the speed control and the pulse assignment in the three axes moving system, as well as it is realized in the highspeed numerical control carving machine system that is based on FPGA and ARM.In this system, in order to reduce the pressure of data processing of the host MCU, I will use FPGA to design a periphery specialized controller which is used in the three axes gearing system to control the speed and assign the pulse. The result of final tests indicated that the author proposed the optimized algorithm and the realization plan of this system, achieved each design performance target of a highspeed numerical control carving machine system completely.
