This paper mainly discussed the raw sugar on-line analysis and testing system based on FPGA, which is the research and improvement of the previous study. The purpose is to make the structure of the whole system more compact, with more testing accuracy, shorter cycle of product development, and low costs, as well as to make the self-developed"Sugar Content Level for the Cane"testing system industrialized and promoted effectively.The system which embedded soft-core Niosâ…ˇin a single-chip FPGA. Realize the control of peripheral circuits of the critical equipment of the sample preparation device (such as stepping motor, reversible motor, metering pumps atc.) and The design of signal collection and transmission in Titrator. In this design, AS the flexibility and Good scalability of SOPC technology. The paper instead of the original design which using PLC as the controller of automatic sample preparation device and MCU as the controller of automatic potentiometric titrator, and merge the two controller in a single-chip FPGA. There is a system of High integration and Compact. In this article, the research of design methods and development process of SOPC, USB bus technology and its application, the application of Virtual Instruments and LabVIEW, the cntrol of Signal acquisition and transmission and Stepper motor etc is substantial.Complete the selection and control of critical equipment of sample preparation device and ,the designing include Programmable Amplifier circuit,A / D sampling circuit,the interface circuit of USB and the perfection of SOPC system (including custom usb_avalon_interface user logic and interconnect modules with avalon bus) .Based on analysis, synthesizing, comparison and experimental research, we use the technology of FPGA, SOPC and EDA to realize a fast, accurate, compact and extensible raw sugar on-line analysis and testing system with high automation .The system with Availability and high-integration level ,comparing to the previous machine, the producing cost has decreased. Each measurement has achieved the expected requirement, and the improved system has certain amount of applied value and technical advancement.
