At present, the ultrasound machine is widely used in clinical examination by various medical institutions. As the connector between ultrasound machine and ultrasound probe, the ultrasound cable also has huge quantity demanded. The ultrasound cable is made with superfine multi-core shielded cable, and the key procedures in cable productive process are wire identifying and wire checking. The traditional manufacturing method is hand made by workers, due to the labor intensity is big, and error-prone, the production efficiency of ultrasound cable is low. To increase production, only by increase the number of workers, but this will increase the cost. Therefore, to improve the wire identifying speed and wire checking speed through advanced electronic technology and automation technology, and developed a machine that can reduce the labor intensity of workers and improve the work efficiency will be imperative.The ultrasound cable productive process including wire stripping, wire identifying, wire sequence fixing, wire checking, cable making, rechecking, packaging, quality checking. This paper analyzes the link which affects the production efficiency and increases the labor intensity of workers during ultrasound cable productive process, and puts forward the design scheme of detection system of ultrasound cable automatic wire identifying machine, using industrial touch screen as the upper computer, and SOPC system as lower computer.(1) Upper computer software developmentUpper computer will use industrial touch screen to develop human-machine interface, in order to make the operation more direct and more convenient; The control program is developed by configuration software, making the equipment easy to learn and easy to use, design flexible, convenient and cost-effective, shorten the development cycle; In this paper, he software architecture is Planned, the flowcharts are drew, the interfaces are designed, the data variables are planned and defined, the operation strategies are determined and the scripts are written, and realized debugging with lower computer.(2) Lower computer hardware and software development Lower computer is based on the SOPC system, design the hardware of detection system of ultrasound cable automatic wire identifying machine, including the SOPC core circuit and interface circuit. The Software development based on Nios II IDE, including wire identifying and wire checking algorithm program, step motor control program, the analytic program of the Modbus communication protocol, the encryption program.(3)wire identifying and checking algorithm researchThe wire identifying algorithm is based on tradition, is improved by the practice of artificial+multi-meter, the process summarized as:set a head, looking for another head, and put it into a right slot position. The wire checking algorithm is different in different stage s during productive process, the wire checking principle in semi-finished product stage is almost same with the wire finding principle, can extended by wire finding function. The wire checking algorithm in finished product stage if referenced to the network cable tester, and realized the checking of ultrasound cable product.The detection system of ultrasound cable automatic wire identifying Machine has been successfully developed, and deliver customers to use, realizing fast wire identifying and checking, and help a worker to make10ultra cable in the normal working hours one day, greatly improve the efficiency of ultrasound cable production work.
