As a new kind of publication, network game has merged into our lives for a long time. The appearance of it enriches our entertainment lives, makes our lives colorful. At present, industry of network game has become an important support part of the industry of China. Of course, this large cake aroused a variety of investors'attention, so many network game publishers entered this field full of wishes, but there are also many examples of failure. Now only 10% of publishers occupied 90% of market share, so what's the reason that there are such a lot of network games cannot get decisive success. In fact, it is very easy to understand, because most of them have not established complete publishing-planning.First of all, this paper analyzed the concept and development situation of network game. There are still some arguments on the definition of network game publication, so it is necessary to carry on the discussion. Secondly, this paper researched the features of network game publications'plan in term of planning continuity, independent on timeliness, presence transmissibility, unitarity and the nature of multi-management. Thirdly, this paper pointed out the main problems of network game publications'plan in China at present, and analyzed the negative effects caused by neglecting these problems. Last but not least, that is, the main part of this paper, proposed the advices on network game publications'plan emphatically, analyzed the work that network game publisher needs take into consideration from nine aspects. Only by this, we can make network game publications'plan success, then gain identity of the market, and finally succeed.The first research result: The largest differences between network game publishing and traditional one is that network game is not only a publication, but also a service. Planning to design a network game, it is necessary to get ready to dispose resources and find the best combination point of money, human resources, plans and client services. Traditional publication earned profit by issuing material objects, however, network game publication earned profit by the services after issuing, and this is the most important point. Publishers must pay attention to this point, because this is a key to success for network games'publishing-planning.The second research result: the step of planning in network game publication always exists between the whole life of network game. In different, the same step in traditional one is just a beginning, its over means the start of issuing. This is the natural difference between these two publications. As sustained planning runs in the whole life of network game, those who neglect processing planning throughout the whole life of network game publication will never succeed.
