Strategic Human Resources Planning For DK Book Publishing Company

Nowadays Chinese local companies are growing rapidly,enterprise management method used during the company start up period no longer meets the fast-growing company's new requirement,especially when companies gained investments from the external investors for IPO which requests the companies to achieve fast revenue growth.Fast revenue growth brings challenges to human resources in terms of quantity as well as quality,i.e.big challenges to the company's human resources strategy.Company business strategy relies on human resources development and management,we need to do strategic Human resources planning according to the Company business strategy then do the implementation.As the age of Industrial civilization transforms to the age of Information civilization,traditional organization structure and management philosophy is changing currently,organization is evolving to be flat,organization means a platform which enables employee's creativity by empowerment.Management concept converts to Enabler concept,need to achieve company's objectives and success of the business strategy by inspiring individual's willingness and potential.This paper applied a case study of Shanghai DK Book Publishing Company,studied how to build human resources strategic planning to support the Company to cope with the challenges of increasing scale versus the limitation of the current management,and to support the Company's business strategy implementation via inspiring the organization.The study aims to provide reference on philosophy,theory,method and tools of the strategic human resources planning and implementation in the internet age.
