Research And Application Of Production Management System Based On Discrete Manufacturing Mode

It has become the key problem which determines if the enterprises win or fail that how it rapidly produces the products to fulfill the customs' requirement according to the market's requirement information. Especially for the discrete manufacturing enterprises whose purpose is random orders, their production processes are not continuous and their organizations are flexible, which increase the difficulty of their production management. It has become the common problem of the traditional manufacturing enterprises that how to use IT to solve the repetitive work and information asymmetry in the production management. So the research of production management system for discrete manufacturing enterprise contributes certain theoretic value and practical meaning.The research of the paper relies on a gear-transmission-equipment-produced enterprise. On the basis of analyzing the features of modern production management, the research situation of production management system at home and abroad at present and the production management characteristics of discrete manufacturing enterprises, as well as researching the advanced production management technologies and the theories of ERP and MES, according to the features of products, production models, business processes and the situation of Informatization of the enterprise, the functional requirements and performance requirements are studied and the functional model is established. Through analyzing the present business processes and information transitive relation, the problems are listed. On the basis of optimizing the business processes, the business model and information model are established to meet the requirements. Finally, the paper uses the object -oriented programming language, Visual Basic.Net, and SQL Server2000 database system to realize some important functional modules and finish the system.The system has been on formally in the enterprise for almost one year, which has made the enterprise realize the information integration and sharing among the whole enterprise and improved the effectiveness of its production management. The research of the system is exemplary for other discrete manufacturing enterprises to apply IT.
