Management Information System(MIS) is a people-oriented, integrated man-machine system, which use hardware, software, communication devices and other office equipments to make information collection, transmission, machining, stocking, updating and maintenance, insisting on enterprise strategy competitive advantage, improving the efficiency and the benefit, supporting senior, intermediate and primary level enterprise decision. Production Management Information System focus on production control module. From contract of sale to product receiving entry, the system realize the whole production control module's automation and informatization. Using production management system as a substitute for manual management, it will improve productivity greatly, make standarding manufacturing practices and cost clear. The authority will make rights and liabilities more clearly, and strengthen the awareness of ownership. This, in turn, can raise the quality of products.J2EE stands for Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition. It is a open and standards-based platform, used for developing, deploying and managing multi-tier structure. J2EE is Web-oriented and server-centered enterprise application, which is providing different types of service for Enterprise Computer Environment, making this application high available, safty, extensible and reliable.The article is oriented on Production Management Information System for Zhang Jiakou Chang Cheng Hydrocylinder Plant, which is design by China Academy of Machinery Science and Technology(CAMST). First, the article describes technical framework of system, then analyzes requirements according investigation. Next, the article designs each module of system according actual circumstances, and then introduces the Master schedule module in detail. Finally, the article make a conclusion for system limitations, and analyzes and forecast the development of this system.
