Normal college students are the would-be teachers. Improving their information literacy will benefit the teaching quality a lot and is good for implementing the Strategy of Developing the Country through Science and Education.Non-information normal college students have much less chance of learning the information courses during school, so their levels of information literacy must to be improved. This paper regards the non-information normal college students as an independent group to be researched. Firstly, this research analyzes the learners'information literacy condition through questionnaire survey. In order to improve their levels of information literacy, the independent cause Information Literacy is chosen as the method of cultivation of this research. According to the investigation and study of the learners, we have made the course design of Information Literacy and decided the goal of cultivation of information literacy teaching. In terms of different teaching contents, we have adopted many teaching methods such as classroom teaching, autonomic learning and cooperative learning to complete the teaching task.This research carries out the course design of Information Literacy and the teaching practice. The teaching practice involves many elements of the teaching process, such as analysis of learners, design of teaching goals, decision of teaching contents, usage of teaching mediums and teaching evaluation. After a term's study, the intended teaching goal has been reached.
