With the"Elevator inspection order" published,there are some new requirements of testing quality for Elevator inspection agency .However, it is easy to find the existing lack of the necessary tests and scientific methods in the implementation process .Reduction in detection buffer for the lift, the traditional method is too subjective, resulting in the actual test results are not scientific and accurate.We should develop a relatively low cost system for the test of the reset time for buffer, but the test of high accuracy, high efficiency, easy installation, reliability.Therefore, it is necessary for us to develope a set of scientific instruments for the detection of special equipment.This study is to research the time for the elevator buffer reduction request and given a program about ARM9-based embedded platform with Windows CE system.A new test instrument about the reduction time of elevator buffer based on ARM and Windows CE 5.0 monitor system is introduced. The overall system include data collection, data storage, LCD touch display and serial communications, applications and so on. In this paper, including the following aspects of work:1. The hardware design and realization of the tester . To overcome the traditional shortcomings of low accuracy of detection, human factors dominate and resulting in large dispersion, the new testing process to achieve dynamic monitoring of the results of the test automatically.The overall module consists of three parts: Ultrasonic Ranging module, the signal monitoring module, processing module PC.2. The software design and realization of the tester.This part including customization and transplantation of Windows CE 5.0 embedded operating system, a hardware interrupt procedure, PC application, the communication process.3. Finally, the summary of the full text of the work, to display the results of test devices, and look forward to the next step direction and the need for further research.
