The diverse industrial control and automation market segment presents developers with a wide range of requirements including increased processing performance, low power consumption, high I/O bandwidth for data acquisition, scalable storage capability, reliability, long-life support and standards-based connectivity. The wide range of ARM processors,whose characters are lower price,lower power consumption,easier development and higher processing performance,helps developers deliver the highest performance for a given power budget. S3C2410 is one of ARM chips.S3C2410 building blocks provide a variety of connectivity options by supporting flexible, standard interfaces such as USB 1.1 and I2C. S3C2410 processor is also designed to help manufacturers meet a variety of graphics and display requirements.We choosed it as our industrial control system processor because of its lower price,easier development and higher ratio of performance to price. In this paper,an embedded industry control system was designed based on S3C2410 which was a Samsung ARM chip,whose development emphasis was TFT-LCD touch screen human-computer interface which was used in embedded industry control system.The TFT-LCD touch screen human-computer interface was composed of TFT-LCD,touch screen and control board.The embedded system application platform,TFT-LCD touch screen control board,was composed of embedded MPU,peripheral handware,linux os and configure software. Firstly,actuality and foreground of embedded industry controller are introduced in Chapter 1.Chaper 2 introduces ARM and its application,whose emphasis is application in embedded industry control system.Chapter 3 discusses the handware design and debugging.Chapter 4 introduces software drive development and application.Chapter 5 introduces the debugging of the key signals for normal running of system.Finally, the system application and improvement were explained briefly in chapter 5.The experiment results indicated that this set of devices ,which had been taken characters of TFT-LCD and STN-LCD into account and driven most of LCDs,could be universally used and it can be well transplanted to other embedded systems with several changes.It is a better method of embedded industry control system based on S3C2410.
