On the domestic market of digital DC speed adjustment regulator recently, expensive foreign products take an important role. The main cause is difference about speed adjustment technology. In order to reduce the gap, there are thousands of scientists, technicians and many college students working on artificial intelligence in our country now. It is a very chance that artificial intelligence technology is applied in the control area. That's research purpose of this paper working on it.In the paper, it mainly researches that the classical PID controller applied in the DC speed adjustment system based on mathematical models as to controlled plant. It's hard for speed adjustment system to apply in the critical application because of the poor robustness and load disturbance. So it is proposed to apply neural network theory in the DC speed adjustment system. The system realized multiplexed control, which is that neural networks is instead of classical PID controller and neural networks and PID control integrate together. The technical has good adaptability and robustness and static accuracy, the DC motor speed adjustment system satisfies performance criteria.The design implement speed adjustment through neural networks. It is proposed to the design as to neural networks and PID multiplexed control. It deals with the system through simulation and comparison with MATLAB/SIMULINK. The process study provid the basis for the optimal control system. Base on simulation software of MATLAB/SIMULINK/RTW, the way can reduce product development cycles. The other way to turn it ture is C code. The DC speed adjustment system, which base on ARM core, is good application.The research shows that the artificial technical can increase the performance through the way of neural networks and PID DC speed adjustment. It is a good way that artificial intelligence technology is applied in control system.
