Infusion is a usual medical treatment in hospital, it is an important way to let the patient take medicine and supplement body fluid and nutrition. Infusion speed is an important parameter in the infusion process. Usually we setup the infusion speed based on the age of the patient, the state of the illness, the sort of the medicine, and so on. Today the infusion speed is controlled by the nurses through modulate the pulley in the infusion equipment in almost all kinds of hospitals in our country, but the infusion speed controlled manually is not accurate and convenient, this should reduce the anticipative result of the treatment. It is also difficult to find out the infusion abnormity and medicine out in time. Those factors are hidden troubles to the patient's life and property, and they are also the important source to enhance the medical workers' workload and stress.According to this requirement, this paper combine an actual scientific research task, put forward a resolution method. It is based on infrared ray inspect technology, microcomputer technology, computer network technology and intelligent fuzzy control technology to compose an distributing local area inspect network to realize inspecting and modulating the infusion speed automatically and supervise the remainder medicine in the bottle.At first the author investigates the structure, the elementary principle and the design method of the Fuzzy control system in-depth. Because of the non-linearity between the bottle altitude and the infusion speed in the infusion process, it is difficult to construct accurate mathematical model, so the author adopts Fuzzy control method in this system. In addition, considering the static error of the common Fuzzy control system , the author construct a Fuzzy-PID controller to enhance the quality of this control system. The author also designed the Fuzzy+PID control software, developed the slaver workstation hardware which is based on AT89C51 single-chip computer. For it is difficult to measure the infusion speed, so the author adopts infrared ray inspect technology and utilizing modulation - demodulation technology to eliminate the disturbance of the surrounding light source. All of these ensure that the result of the infusion speed inspecting is accurate and reliable.Utilizing the result of the research, the author designed a intelligent infusion system which is based on RS-485 bus master-slaver supervisory network. Throughexperiments, it is indicated that the measurement of the infusion speed is very accurate, the respond of the infusion speed adjustment is rapid, the static error is small, the liquid level alarming output signal is reliable and accurate. All of those indicated the validity and application value of this system.
