With development of computer network technology and electronic technology, computer application step into a new area. The embedded system becomes one of the main information process tools following personal computer. It is an important trend with the embedded system's appearance and more and more wide application. Meanwhile, with rapid development of Internet technology, the embedded equipment access to the network is the inevitable trend.For its convenient operation character, multi-function character etc, it applies to electronic instrument, intellectual electrical home appliances more and more frequently.Several typical present popular scheme of embedded equipment connecting to the net have been given in the article, after analyzing the characteristic of each scheme and comparing with their advantage disadvantage ,the writer provide a scheme of 8-bit single chip embedded equipment connecting to the net. the writer analyze standard TCP/IP core content and simplifying elaboration of design process on the embedded system, including IP, ARP, ICMP, UDP, TCP protocols in succession. Specially, the TCP protocol work principle and its design described in detail in the article. The writer gives software's and hardware's module diagrams. Combining with systematic function, the module of make up, the design and realization thinking are described respectively.Finally the writer explained the detailed course of design HTTP protocol on the embedded system on the basis of embedded TCP/IP protocol. And through dealing with the browser's request which access to embedded WEB page in the system, system realize web server function. The characteristic of this system is low costs, simple interface, convenient network setting up, and fast transmission speed.
