the combination of Embedded technology and Ethernet technology as the two key technology in IT field will become the future developing trend. Network technology has advantages in network, information interaction and resources sharing. Embedded technology has advantages in processing control ability. The combination of them will create more applications. Embedded Web server based on the hardware platform of embedded processors and network chips realize TCP/IP protocol and network communication. Through the HTTP service realize page interaction, play a role of remote monitoring system. Since the emergence of embedded ethernet. Ethernet is no longer only limited in the network connection between computers, and spread to more field, get more extensive application. For example, industrial equipment of the intelligent home network monitoring management and so on. Therefore the research of embedded Ethernet has very important practical significance.This design uses the produce of ST company Cortex-M3core processor STM32F107and DP83848C internet card chip to construct the hardware platform. Based on the hardware characteristics, to complete the transplanting of the operating system, designing TCP/IP protocol stack and the writing of the middleware procedures and driver procedures, so as to realize the Ethernet communication. Finaly realize a low cost and reliable connection Web server,to achieve the purpose of remote login and control. System hardware platform based on the Cortex-M3STM32F107VC micro controller chip and DP83848C network chip realize the function of network interface STM32F107FC processor built-in Ethernet MAC controller, is a more functional processor chip, so the realization of the network interface will be more convenient and the circuit structure design will be more simple. This system chooses RL-RTX operating system, The operating system functions are all, takes up little kernel space, has a high real time capability, especially it can seamless integration with MDK development environment, it simplifyies the transplant process of the operating system and reduce the development cycle.This paper first gave a detailed introduction about the development history and present application development of embedded system and Ethernet technologyandt hen make a overall generalizations from the system hardware and software design.,and give a detailed analysis about the system hardware structure, driver compiling, and transplantation and use of operating system, realization and call of the TCP/IP protocol stack, and the whole function test and the realization.
