It is a tendency to use embedded internet technology in the field monitoring and supervisor. It is hoped that the embedded system can connect with Internet to provide Web server functions, whose real time slate can be seen by IE browse in all time, in all places. Furthermore, the embedded system can be remote monitored, controlled, diagnosed and configured. Embedded internet technology will change the architecture of monitoring and supervision system. And it will satisfy the expansibility, real time in modern monitoring and controlling, distribution. In this premise, this paper works over the remote monitoring and supervision system based on embedded web server. The key to implement this kind of system is to implement the embedded Web server. The development of Internet and embedded system is so fast that the embedded Web server can be implemented. The key to implement the embedded web server is to implement the TCP/IP protocol and communication between web server and browse. Much work has been done in this paper:1. Study the principle of embedded web server and construct a embedded web server using SX522. A cheap Ethernet Protocol transfer has been designed to be easily used in the place where conventional embedded systems may be want to be controlled or monitored via Ethernet by usually used IE browse .3. The off_the_shelf TCP/IP Virtual Peripheral modules are offered at length in this thesis . This will be convenient for later modifications of TCP/IP Protocol according to special applications.4. Using JavaScript to take the client-certification performance and optimize the web interface. It alleviates the burden of the small capacity devices and provide customer_friendly user interface.5. Design the remote monitoring and supervision system by using of embedded web serverThe result of experiments show that embedded web server can realize remote monitoring and supervision system through browser well. As a result they can remote monitor, control, diagnose and configure embedded system, which endow embedded system with network and intelligence functions. The realization of embedded internet technology makes a try to apply technology of information network to industrial distribution control.
