In recent years, with the development of the technology of communications, computer and sensor, it is possible to control remote temperature in real-time by using technology of collecting remote data. Wireless temperature measuring system is the international hot field, which involves sensors, computer, communications and other subjects in various fields. The wireless measuring system designed in this paper has the advantage that is out of the effect of geography,climate,time. By using wireless transmission, the system also has more advantage such as lower cost in project, lower humanity resources, high reliability and free of maintenance, etc.This system mainly realizes the measurement for wireless multi-point temperature and the communication with upper computer. This paper described the design idea and the realization method, analyzed the design principle of every part and introduced the design process in detail. This system make up of the part of collecting data, transmitting data wirelessly and the communication among upper computers. The collection part use low-power and high-performance CMOS 8-bit single chip AT89S51 as control center ,used the 1-line digital temperature sensor DS18B20 sending the collected T data to single chip to be processed . The part of data wireless transmission use nRF2401 chip based on RFID technology. It can be configured to achieve high-speed data transmission by software. The upper computer control system used USB port as the interface of computer and measurement-control net. The drive chip used PL2303HX which made by PROLIFIC company, it is USB TO RS-232 converter bridge chip, it can auto-complete the conversion of USB to serial communication. It is very easy to realize the system of wireless data transmission with a USB interface.This system can be widely used in small wireless data terminals, fire security protect systems, biological signal collection, hydro-meteorological monitoring and other fields. It will has a great potential applications if RS485 or CAN be used among upper computers, which can upgrade the system into a wireless communication network to realize data communication between host and upper computers.
