More and more people making the research to the seismic survey technology enable us to be able unceasing to obtain more underground information, this bring the new method and the mentality for us to solve the energy crisis. The distributional seismograph survey is used to survey body information by using the way of multi-spots survey.Because of using the way of multi-spots survey, between each equipment needs the electric cable to be connected on the data transmission. But some places like mountainous region, lake, forest are extremely difficult to place wires. In order to solve this problem, we have developed the wireless communication system based on USB. The module of system design causes it also to be allowed to use in other systems which need wireless communication. The advantages of wireless data communication as reliability, function, extension make it to be more and more used at the monitoring domain. The wireless communication system based on USB is constituted by PIC16F877 which is the microprocessor, radio frequency transceiver and transmitter chip nRF2401,the USB100 module group. The system not only can transceiver and transmitter the data, also can be connected to the PC through USB that can be high speed and quick to transmit the data to the PC for storage, analysis and processing. This paper totally includes five chapters.The contents of the paper are as follows:The first chapter ,outlined the background of topic research ,and summarized the process of wireless correspondence development, points out the research content of the present paper .The second chapter, outlined the wireless communications system composition, comparison the kinds technology of wireless communication, and has particularly described design of the system, including: the choice of the wireless communication module, the microprocessor and the USB interface module. The third chapter is the hardware realization of the wireless communications system. This chapter includes six sections:1.detail the hardware system function module2.detail the core characteristic of the Microchip Corporation's PIC16F877 microprocessor, the periphery characteristic and the introduction of pins.3. detail main characteristic of the Nordic Semiconductor Corporation's one piece type wireless receiving and dispatching chip nRF2401, the pins, internal structure drawing, the working pattern and the channel connection.4. detail the function of USB100 module and the control timing of theUSB100 module5.detail the design of the wireless short distance circuit ,analyze and design each electric circuit, including: the connected electric circuit of the nRF2401 and PIC16F877,clock circuit and reset circuit, the connection of the USB100 and PIC16F877,power circuit.6. summarize the chapter.The fourth chapter , the software realization of the wireless communications system, including: introduce the programming environment of the microprocessor PIC16F877,detail the design of the wireless receive and dispatch programming, the virtual serial interface which is produce by the connection of the USB module and the PC, introduce the interface of the enter program and the application procedure for the system.The fifth chapter, the experimental result of the system, analysis of the result and obtain the result that the system is feasibleThe sixth chapter, all this paper is summarized, the conclusion is given and some questions which should be researched continuously in the future is give.
