With the popularization of broadband networks and high-performance audio and video standards (such as H.264) has introduced the use of Internet to conduct real-time audio transmission, video programming, the application of multimedia technology has become an important field of research; On the other hand, at mobile value-added business, based on the WAP browser business to become a great a bright spot in the current mobile devices, WAP browser has replaced the Web browser and has become one of the necessary application software. Based on the above two points, based on embedded systems as a platform, with WAP technology, embedded devices can collect multimedia information quickly and easily delivered to the mobile terminal.This paper designed a DSP-based TMS320DM642 multimedia processor as the core platform for mobile real-time image viewer with TVP5150A and SAA7121 video decoder chip, TLV320AIC23B audio codec, BCM5221 Ethernet transceiver, etc. and achieved a four-way audio and video collection, all the way audio and video transmission, network transmission, mobile real-time access to image functions, as opposed to the traditional PC-WAP server bulky, vulnerable network virus attacks, on the erection of the drawbacks of higher environmental requirements has improved .And it can catabatic the contradiction between quality of image and transfer rate, convenienting for updata and satisfying the the demand for the practical application.The mission of this thesis is easily introduce the development of WAP technology, DSP technology and embedded video monitoring system and then combined the question for discussion made the compare and select scheme. Expatiate DSP-based real-time image of the cell phone browser platform hardware design, including image acquisition, image output, audio collection and output, the network transmission module.After analyse the milt-power system and milt-clock system and give the effective and exercisable method. Main part of model are given timeing analyse and hard-adjust. At last table a proposal the thought of advantage and consummate hardware plateform.
