Nowadays, more and more domestic enterprises come into the software outsourcing market, and the problems they faced are more and more prominent out. He focuses on the commonness of the domestic software outsourcing enterprises and analyzes the problems in a specific enterprise, then draws the conclusion. He also puts forward to improving the process based on the CMMI model. According to the final improved data and the actual results, the author finally sums op the feasibility of the CMMI applied to software outsourcing enterprises.Firstly, the article describes the origin and features of the CMMI model and makes a brief description of its applicability. Secondly, it describes the business issues in Nova and makes the mapping between these issues and process areas of CMMI. Thirdly, it makes a proposal to resolve the issues and establish the process database. Finally it comes to a conclusion by the feedback from the project team and the data collected from the pilot project.
