Design And Implementation Of Network Management System With AJAX Technology And WBM Architecture

With the development of computer network technology, computer network is becoming more and more popular in people's life. It is very important to maintain and manage the network. At present, network management has become a key technology of computer network, and is very important for the stability of the whole network.This paper primarily discusses the design of an AJAX based network management system with the WBM architecture, and provides an implementation using Java programming language. This system is divided into three subsystems: SNMP function system, data store system and Web UI system. This system implements SNMP based network topology discovery, devices information collecting by polling, and provides Web access interface for the users, including a flexible network topology graph. By adopting the AJAX technology in the design of Web pages, the user experience is improved effectively. The system is easy to use and extend, and it achieves good evaluation after entering market.This paper discusses some protocols related to network management, mainly about the SNMP protocol, and introduces the WBM architecture of the system. The whole system is divided into different subsystems with different functions, and the particular design and implementation of each subsystem is discussed. The author also introduces the testing of the system and makes a summary based on those discussions. Some future improvement of the system is given out at the end of the paper.
