Design And Implement Of Business-Oriented MSTP Network Management System

With the rapid development of telecom market and the rapid growth in the volume of business information, it brings opportunities and challenges to network operators and network equipment manufacturers. The network operators start to deploy the MSTP network basis on the SDH technology to meet growing quality requirement of data business and service. The MSTP (Multi-Service Transform Platform) could offer an end-to-end multi-service access solution to users. Because the main problem faced today is lack of centralized network management and operating system, so it increases operating difficulty and is not conducive to the healthy development of MSTP network. This article researches on how to manage MSTP network and reduce the cost and complexity of management to provide carrier-class data network service.The design of transmission network management system is focus on element management. The author analyzed the disadvantages about such network management architecture, and implemented the business-oriented MSTP network management system.Analyzed the metropolitan area network features and management needs of MSTP network, and raised objectives for MSTP Integrated Network Management System. Business management is the core strategy. It designed and implemented seven functions including the view management, configuration management, performance management, business management, system management and acquisition module. And it built the environment of system test and designed the accurate test cases to verify the correctness of solution and availability of system. At the end of this paper, the author gives the summary of this paper and further research prospects.
