Research On Technology And Application Of MSTP Network

MSTP(Multiple Service Transport Platform)improves the capabilities of data transporting of SDH(synchronous Digital Hierarchy),and realizes the mapping and transmitting of Ethernet, ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode), and RPR(Resilient Packet Ring). It is of great significance in updating network and structuring data network.The article first analyses the technology of MSTP, and the producing of MSTP. The article mainly studies on several critical technologies for MSTP. The article contains three parts as follows:(1) Several critical technologies for MSTP. Based on discussion of SDH, the article mainly studies on virtual concatenation, LCAS, GFP, RPR, MPLS. By discussing and analyzing the critical technologies, we understand the data processing of MSTP. (2)To take MSTP equipment for example, the article briefly instructs the structure and function of MSTP equipment. The MSTP equipment has rich interface, and character of flexibility on structuring network, which brings us unprecedented convenience on important customer network and access network. (3)To take the national e-government central transport network for example, the article introduces design methods of MSTP network.By the research of this task, we master the technology of MSTP, and know how to design MSTP network, which provides the services of TDM, ATM, and Ethernet. By the work we achieve the objective as follows: (1)Master the technology of MSTP.(2)Master the principle and performance of MSTP equipment. (3) On the premise of operator's existing network and MSTP equipment, we finish the design of national e-government central transport network by using MSTP.
