Recently, Video monitor system has been well developed along with a very fast speed development of the technology of computer, network and image processing, from traditional analog technology for modern digital technology. Embedded digital Video monitor system is the fastest development part of the Video monitor system. Because of its stability, open-source, easy-porting and other strong point, linux is widely used in embedded field and has huge potation and value in commerce. Nowadays, ARM with 32-bit embedded processor becomes the most widely application for its extraordinary performance and low power consumption. It is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the theory of Linux operating system, to port the embedded Linux system and to develop the application procedure. The development of embedded technology fulfills the needs of fast-speed,reliable hardware. As the advantage of price,open and rich resource,tiny kernel,Linux has been widely used in embedded system. As the kernel technology of wirless technology of next generation,with the development of telecommunication industry, OFDM catchs more and more atention.At first, this paper describes how to establish embedded wireless terminal based on OFDM. Then principle of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing—OFDM is descripted in detail, its advantages and disadvantages have been a subject of discussion.. After that, the design of terminal and chips choise are discussed. Then describes the configuration of system based on Linux.of As an emphasis of this paper, the principle and difficulty of video recognition is talked, with the introduce of modern video recognition technology.
