Design Of Embedded Remote Video Monitor System Based On ARM

The embedded network video surveillance system is one kind of new video surveillance system which use embedded technology,video coding technology and network transmission technology as the core. Compared to old video surveillance system, it has many advantages,such as stability,real time performance,functions and price,etc.And it is also the direction of research and development in video surveillance system.In this thesis,The embedded network video surveillance system based on S3C2440 and Linux operating system(OS) is deeply studied and realized.In this paper,we introduce the embedded video surveillance technology's trend of development and the research situation firstly,then discusse the design of the system software,hardware,Linux OS,video store and network transmission.The AL9V576 video coding module and the TW2835 video processing module are elaborated discussed.Firstly,research video gathering unit's optimized method.In order to enhance the video processing function and video quality,reduce the cost,we use video controlle TW2835 to gather four analog video signals and environmental information to superimpose OSD.Secondly,research dual core truss.In order to modularize the video gathering unit,increase the design flexibility of the product,reduce the burden of the microprocessor and the complexity of software design,we use the fully integrated mixed-signal System-on-a-Chip MCU C8051F340 to control TW2835,gathe environmental information,and communicate with the microprocessor in addition.Thirdly,research and analyze the hardware.we use codec chip AL9V576 which has high quality,high performance and low power to make video coding.On the other hand,we design the SRAM host interface of AL9V576 to connect with the microprocessor so that to break the PCI interface limi that traditional chips mostly use,it is more convenient for module combination.
