| A new scheme of embedded industry video monitor system is proposed , composed with embedded technology, video decode and encode technology and network technology after analyzed the status of industry video monitor system and video decode and encode technology. The structure of embedded video monitor system is anaylized, and a new scheme based on video capture chip and ARM processor is proposed. Because there are many industry video monitor case whose video has poor quality and changes slowly. And it selects MPEG4 as video coding standard, and implements by software.First the design process of hardware is introduced. S3C2440 is chosen as the processor after anaylizing the performance of presently embedded processor. And the periphery interface is designed based on the structure of kernel board and motherboard, and it is composed with Ethernet interface, camera interface, JTAG interface. And the power circuit is designed. And the software is designed, which is made of system software and application software.The performance of presently operating system is anaylized, and embedded Linux is chosen as the operating system in the design of software. And the transplant process of embedded Linux is particularly introduced, and it implements by loading BootLoader, transplanting kernel and making file system. Server software is designed based on C/S structure. IT contain the program of Xvid transplant, video capture, video encode and video transmission. And the Client software is designed , which contains video incept, video decode and video play.Embedded industry video monitor system don`t have DSP chip, and the MPEG4 is implemented by software. The cost decrease about 20%, and the cost in power decrease about 30%. The test indicates that embedded industry video monitor system runs steadily and has perfect function. It will be widely used. |
