The 21st century is a named SHE century, which is lead by the communication. Women and communication seems to be made for each other. Since 1990's, the social status of Chinese women has been improving day by day. The mass media pay great attention to the female culture and open the door to them. Female magazine, which is an essential reading material in women's daily lives, is a best reflection of women's living states and concepts. On the other hand, Female magazine plays a non-replaced role in spreading abroad the female culture. This paper chooses Women Friend as a good sample of the female magazines. It gives a brief introduction of the contents and makes a comprehensive analysis of the advertisements in details. It also be expatiated that there are the research of the advertisements of Women Friend and female culture, and the discussion of the far-reaching influence of the advertisements acting on the female culture.The paper begins with the introduction of the research background. The first part talks about the situation of the current research in this field, and points out the research object and method. The next part introduces the general situation of the female culture: what is the female culture, the development of female culture and the character of the female culture. In the third part, there are descriptions of the advertisements of Women Friend in five aspects, and analysis of the characteristic. There is a summing-up of a positive guide of the advertisements of Women Friend on female culture in the fourth part. Meanwhile, the negative influence of what has been mentioned above is concluded in the last part.
