Metro is the most important urban rail transport tool in the modern cities. Research the metro status monitoring system to upgrade the subway train in integrated performance, increase road safety and improve the efficiency of the metro maintenance plays an important role.In this paper, based on the in-depth analysis of subway train system, a rail vehicle status monitoring system will be designed. The system has following functions: status acquisition and display, data storage and backup, failure analysis and fault grading assessment, end-to-end networking communications. As a result of advanced embedded system design, the rail vehicle status monitoring system has the highlighting the advantages of powerful, low power consumption and high reliability.Metro status monitoring system involves a very wide area, this paper will from the aspects of data collection and analysis, failure to judge and assessment, end-to-end Ethernet communications to do the following work: Design an integrated control platform based on ARM processor and uCLinux operating system, improve the performance, integration and scalability; In-depth analyze the function the metro's on-board KLIP system, realize the communication between KLIP and the monitoring system in this paper. Focuses on the basic theory and analysis of the steps of the fault tree, set up a fault-tree model of metro, carry out a qualitative analysis and quantitative terms, and assess the level of failure of the subway; Construct the on-board Ethernet network communication among the terminal and improve the end-all ability to visit each other.
