The analog-digital conversion circuits is a interface of analog systems and digital systems , because use the digital systems to deal with analog signal have a lot of superiority .So that ADC was a great development. But these are mostly constituted by analog circuits, with the IC narrowing and the lower supply voltage makes the design of ADC change difficult. HA technology overcome this contradiction, so that A/D and D/A were an unprecedented development,the technology are a combination ofΣΔmodulation and oversampling , it is a low cost to implement the medium low speed, high-resolution A/D and D/A conversion.The article from the oversampling codec chip's digital decimation filter and digital interpolation filter to start an in-depth discussion of the digital filter design theory and design methods, focused on how to make use of VLSI technology to achieve efficient extraction and interpolation multiples.Extraction technology to extract quantify analog signals in order to reduce the sampling frequency, decimation filter use in Sigma-Delta A/D converters, with better filtering capacity and improve data accuracy. Use interpolation technique to interpolate digital signals in order to improve the sampling frequency, interpolation filters use in Sigma-Delta D/A converters, the signal through digital modulator improve signal to noise ratio. Based on the above ideas, we designed a decimation filter and an interpolation filter banks separately and write the Verilog code of the decimation filter and the interpolation filter, the code functional simulation, synthesis, placement and routing, timing analysis, back-end simulation, in final submitted to the gds document and form the audio IP core, and completed the chip test to validate the final design is basically reached the requirements.
