This paper, combined with a helicopter airborne millimeter-wave fire control radar research project, bases on the test for radar target identification algorithm. The article founds the test platform in the laboratory to test the millimeter-wave fire control radar extension and uses the field test data to maximumly simulate the virtual reality environment.The main thesis of the work includes the design of hardware platforms, the storage of target identification information and software platform. First of all, the paper presents the design of hardware platform to provide data to the fire control radar target identification extension. To meet data transmission rate of the target identification extension at 24Mbit/s, this article takes TI's DSP chips TMS320VC5402 as control chip and uses CY7C68013A to realize USB2.0 interface design, and the test rate can grant the demand; to achieve double-wide communications, this paper designs the ethernet interface with RTL8019AS and realize the UDP/IP protocol; to facilitate test, the paper also designs two serial ports at the baud of 9600 and 115,200.Secondly, the paper designs the storage of the target identification information. Based on CF card for storage media, the paper firstly achieves the read/write of the CF card on a single sector with TMS320VC5402, and then analyzes the FAT file system and comes to the realization of a simple low-risk FAT16 file system to ensure data's security on CF card under the vibration conditions in the helicopter.Finally, the paper implements the design of software platform, including the driver for USB and the data transfer control procedure. This article develops the firmware download driver in the understanding of the WDM driver model in the Windows operating system, then briefly introduces the airborne millimeter wave fire control radar target identification platform, and finally uses the C# language to achieve USB, Ethernet and serial port'communications with computer and completes the design of the data transmission control platform.
