Battlefield environment is the carrier of and also controls the whole process of warfare. Nowadays, the armed forces of every country are advancing the construction of digitalization. Battlefield environment support, as the basis of informationization of armed forces, can give the comprehensive analysis to the battlefield environment information, provide the commanders in time with nearly real-time battlefield weather, traffic facilities, the distribution of combat forces and weapon platforms, as well as the situation of battlefield during the whole process of the warfare. So the status of battlefield environment support will be increasingly prominent and important.Battlefield environment support data integration is the basis of digitalized battlefield environment support, the aim of which is to synthetically deal with the multi-source data of battlefield environment, to form the synthetical battlefield station, and to provide the commandes with integated decision-making and analysis means. Battlefield environment support data integration arises from the the development of information technology and battlefield environment support technology. So the study of battlefield environment support data integration platform is of great practical significance and military application value.The study of thesis focuses on the following five aspects:1. Putting forward the architecture of the battlefield environment support data integration platform and studying the structure, the function and the handling process of the platform. The thesis carries out an in-depth study on software and hardware architecture of the integrated platform (with the basis of analysis of the platform functional requirements, the database cluster, and the massive multi-source data storage system of SAN), and puts forward a service-oriented platform architecture.2. Establishing data modeling on the battlefield environment support. The thesis classifies the battlefield environment support data by analyzing the need of battlefield environment data integration, sets up the respective model of the involved vector data, image data, DEM data, military elements data and metadata, and then integrates them to build a battlefield environment support integrated data model.3. Designing battlefield environment data integration database. Takes an in-depth study on related theory and technology of spatial database design, gives the detailed design to the battlefield environment support database from the aspects of the hierarchy, the concept design and logic design, gives the name and encoding rules of data. 4. Designing and implementing a battlefield environment support data integration platform for experiments. Describes the function framework of the integration platform, designs detailedly the function of sub-platform and documentation base, gives the specific implements of the platform function.5. In view of features of infantry carrying out tasks and their need to the data integration, the theis studies application model of the battlefield environment support data integration platform in infantry unit.The last part of thesis sums up the whole work and puts forward the assumption and expectation of the study.
