This dissertation takes the information support in marine battlefield environment as the application background, takes the construction of scientific and efficient framework for information application as the research goal, and takes the solution of key problems in information integration and application as the research contents. By the research route of actual combat serving, key problems solving and prototype system constructing, it carries on the research about information integration and application techniques based on geographical ontology, applied dataset generating methods based on distributed workflow, spatial data service optimizing methods based on dynamic index, and the application visualization techniques for integrated marine environmental information. Based on the research achievements above, a prototype system of MBEIS (Marine Battlefield Environmental Information System) is researched and developed.The main contents and innovations in this dissertation are summarized as below:1) An information integration method based on geographical ontology and application strategies of environmental dataset in marine battlefield are proposed.An EOTM (Extended Ontology Triangle Model) and the integration method based on EOTM are proposed; the data integration in marine battlefield environment is implemented based on hybrid ontology and EOTM; a task-environment ontology model for knowledge detecting of integrative dataset is proposed; the main flow and realization strategy of data integration and application are designed.2) An applied dataset generating method in marine battlefield environment based on distributed workflow is proposed.An automatic implementing method of component function based on workflow is proposed, the registration of remote-sensing image and vector map is designed in detail as an example; the conception and model of FHA (Functional Hybrid Agents) are proposed, on which the framework of distributed workflow is designed; a definition model of agent class and AEFC (Agent Enhanced Flow Charts) are proposed, a multilayer wrapper communication interface based on KQML and XML is implemented.3) An optimizing method of spatial data service based on dynamic index is proposed.The conception of AD (Attention Degree) is defined, a dynamic index based on AD and a double index service pattern with buffer pool are proposed; the service optimizing are implemented by leading the statistical method into data service and adding AD values which makes the spatial data to a more logical order by their accessing demand.4) The application visualization methods and multi-scale visualization mechanism of environmental dataset in marine battlefield are proposed. Four key methods on application visualization of environmental data in marine battlefield are proposed which concludes the data organizing model based on UGF (Uniform Geospatial Framework), the modeling and drawing methods of military plotting, the field-data visualization method based on variant filling and the military mission rehearsal model based on SES (Spatio-temporal Event Series); a MGVM (Multi-scale Geospace-data Visualization Model) and a self-adaptive scale-changing visualization method are proposed on the multi-scale visualization mechanism.5) A prototype system of MBEIS is designed and developed.According to the achievements above, a prototype system of MBEIS is designed and implemented. The main framework, information flow and sub-systems are designed in detail and implemented with specific software and hardware environment; the application and deployment mode is proposed and validated with actual data; the correctness, feasibility and validity of the theory, method and system advanced in this dissertation are validated by analyzing the function interface and circulate result of the prototype system.
