With the development of computer technique and information industry, parametric technique are used in mechanical field. The development of production parametric CAD system has become certain trend in information and digital enterprise production. So technique of parametric and automatic-assemble is widly needed. When there are lots of parts in assembly , a tedious and repetitious work can be resulved by the technique of automatic-assemble .Pro/E is a widly used CAD/CAM software. Take it for studying object, with analysis of the development interfaces of Pro/ENGINEE and make comparison for characteristic of Family Table, UDF, Program, J-link, Pro/TOOLKIT. The way of creating application of Pro/TOOLKIT as well as implement of information transformation mechanism between Pro/E and MFC are studied.Second, the paper put emphasis on study of automatic-assemble. According to the theories and technique of automatic-assemble, using twice-development tool Pro/TOOL of Pro/E to edit function of automatic-assemble; Completing automatic-assemble of parts and assembly by Pro/E.Finally, the paper develops a system of Gondola studied in Pro/E. This system is operated easily and practical. Through this system , you can design all parts on visual circumstance and make the system automatic-assemble. This system not only would improve the design quality and efficiency of spider, and shorten the develop cycle, but also would be valuable to the Finite Element Analysis. So it could satisfy the development of modern technology. The practice proved that the system can enhance productivity greatly, lighten designer's burden, have high practical value.
