The safety problems exist in the petrochemical production process for fire, explosion, poisoning, pollution etc. Many kinds of accidents have occurred and caused great damage to people and property loss. One of the main means of dealing with the safety problems is to identify the system hazard sources, assess the risk and study the control measures by the system safety analysis.This paper has studied the fuzzy problems of HAZOP technology, analyzed the computer-aid analysis process, and developed the TFUZZY_HAZOP system based on HAZOP. The major work and conclusions are as follows.(1)The characteristics of the safety assessment methods were studied, the fuzzy of HAZOP was analyzed and the method to solve the problem was worked out by fuzzy theory, and the models of the fuzzy analysis of deviation degree, reasons, consequence were set up.(2)The logic process of the TFUZZY_HAZOP system was determined, and TFUZZY_HAZOP was developed using Visual C++ 6.0. The construction between Visual C++ 6.0 and ODBC was established.(3)A knowledge base for TFUZZY_HAZOP was set up using SQL2000 including general knowledge object, special knowledge object, HAZOP object, accident case object, subjection object, fuzzyvalues object, R object and T object. The instance data were collected and inputted.(4)The user interface of TFUZZY_HAZOP was developed, which was convenient for the user to input, select data and compute.(5)The TFUZZY_HAZOP was applied in the case-the heating system of the heat transfer oil. The result was compared with TFAHAZOP and traditional HAZOP; the character of TFUZZY_HAZOP was compared with TFAHAZOP and HAZOPExpert in automation degree, method, reasoning degree etc. The practice of this actual program indicates that the analysis is more comprehensive, whose practicability of the system is good.The new ideas presented in this paper are as follows.(1)The method of solving the fuzzy problem of HAZOP was worked out by fuzzy theory.(2)The way of deviation propagation was improved, the fuzzy analysis process was programmed, and the computer-aid analysis system based on experiences was developed. The TFUZZY_HAZOP perfects the analysis results, improves the analysis efficiency and can be applied in the engineering.
