With the rapid development of science and technology, the computer monitoring and controlling system has been widely used in many fields. It is imperative for pumping station to implement computer's controlling automation. The computer monitoring and controlling system not only can ensure the pumping station run reliably, but also can improve working efficiency obviously and lighten labor intensity greatly and reduce the operating cost and improve the management of pump station in an all-round way. Therefore, studying the automatic monitoring system of pumping station is magnificent significance.According to the domestic status of monitoring system of pumping station, considering the practices in Daqing, the dissertation provided a new design plan of remote monitoring system of pumping station based on a virtual instrument. The design applied with the image design software LabVIEW and the DSP chip TMS320F2812. DSP is a core of the lower machine. The corresponding software and hardware is designed regarding DSP. The design can have in time data collection and electrical motor's vector control. The Virtual Instrumentation software LabVIEW is used to program to the upper machine. The program can have a real time records, picture display, forms for reporting statistics and websites. The program adopted dialog box, menu editor to work out a friendly human-machine interface. In order to build a dynamic monitoring data management system, LabVIEW is interacted with the Access database with the application of LabSQL. At the same time, the design makes use of Webserver technique realizing remote monitoring of drainage pumping station. The method of Serial Communication is used to data transmission between the upper machine and the lower machine.The dissertation firstly obtains the suitable parameter of the motor control by MATLAB simulation in system's experiment. Then, these parameters are applied in the actual test. And the result of test indicates that the control effect is good. Finally, the result of running the whole system indicates that every part of system is operating normally. The dissertation is to lay good foundation for further research and complete of remote monitoring system of drainage pumping station.
