At present, the computer monitoring and control system is used to monitor the running status of pump sets of pumping station for most of the large pumping station in jiangsu province, and the on-line monitoring for the pump casing and the pendulum degrees of flange is conducted on only a handful of pump sets of pumping station. In addition, the number of the pumping stations of south-to-north water diversion project is numerous, and their distribution range is wide. Furthermore, the new established pump stations are lack of experienced operation and management personnel. For these reasons, the technology of the remote state monitoring and analyzing for pump sets of pumping station is researched and applied, and the centralized state monitoring and maintenance management on multiple pump sets of pumping station through the network is of great significance. This paper focused on the research on the key technologies of the remote state monitoring and analyzing for pump sets of pumping station. And the overall scheme of the remote state monitoring and analyzing system for pump sets of pumping station is given in this paper. So this paper is doing the applied basic research on establishing the state monitoring and analyzing system for pump sets of pumping stations in jiangsu province of south-to-north water diversion project in the future.First of all, the research status and development trend at home and abroad of the state monitoring and analyzing technology are analyzed. And the functional requirements of the remote state monitoring and analyzing system for pump sets of pumping station are put forward on this basis. The overall structure of this system is also given, including the hardware structure, architecture and software structure.In chapter 3, the design of the field state monitoring and analyzing system for pump sets of pumping station is introduced in detail. It is divided into five modules, such as system configuration, state data acquisition, database management, signal preprocessing and state analysis. And the state analysis is composed of amplitude-domain analysis, time-domain analysis and frequency-domain analysis. Moreover, the design of the main monitoring diagram, the time-domain waveform figure, the axis path diagram, the spectrum diagram and other figures are described in detail. Then the realization of the remote state monitoring agent server is described briefly.In chapter 4, the design of the remote state monitoring and analyzing Web server for pump sets of pumping stations in jiangsu province of south-to-north water diversion project is introduced in detail. The remote state monitoring and analyzing Web server implemented with Measurement Studio can process and analysis the data shared by the field state monitoring and analyzing system for pump sets of pumping station, and then convert into a Web page. Thus, the remote user can do jobs such as state monitoring, state analysis and so on. And the status report can be generated according to user requirements.Finally, the experimental platform including selection of experimental devices, sensors, field acquisition equipment and arrangement of measuring points, etc. is introduced. Then the rotor imbalance fault and the rotor misalignment fault are simulated on this platform. And the parameter characteristics obtained from the analysis of the system are coincided with the related data. These tests show that the designed field state monitoring and analyzing system for pump sets of pumping station realizes the basic functions of state monitoring and analysis, and the remote state monitoring and analyzing Web server meets the basic demands of remote state monitoring and analysis. The system is good for enhancing the operation and maintenance management level of the pumping station and ensuring the safe and economic operation of south-to-north water diversion project.
