Study And Realization Of The Automatic Control And Remote Monitoring System Of The Pumping Station In Urban Tunnels

Urban tunnel is one of the essential facilities against the heavy traffic in urban area, and the drainage pumping station plays an important role to guarantee the normal function of the urban tunnel during the flood period.Presently most of the drainage pumping stations in China is the electric control system adopting relays as main parts, which only realize the simple control functions. They cannot automatically realize the alternate operation in multiple pumps, nor realize the real-time log and dynamic administration. With the rapid development of the computer technology, the programmable controller adopting the micro processing unit are substituting the relay control, and are applied widely in automatic control fields of all industries. Therefore, the research is focused on starting the pump efficiently and reasonably, on the utilization of the pump in most economic, energy efficient and reliable way while ensuring the safe tunnel traffic during the flood period, and on enhancement and optimization of the performance of the pumps.In this article, according to the actual situation of the Chengdu Tianfu Tunnel drainage pumping station, the modern automatic control and remote monitoring system for drainage pumping station is hereby established, which adopts the automatic computer control and monitoring system based on industrial auto configurable software, and combines the sensor technology, PLC technology, computer monitoring technology and Internet remote communication technology. The system has the functions of scientific arrangement and control, data logging, status recording, trend analysis, remote monitoring etc., which reflects directly and graphically in real time the working status of the pump and the water level of the collecting pond, has dynamic administration on the monitored status parameters, and automatically generates and prints the report and sheets accordingly. The system realizes the scientific operation, real time monitoring and dynamic administration of the drainage pumping station, and enhances the level of its modernized administration.
