China has more than 300 passenger ropeways and increases in 20% rate annual, in order to strengthen passenger ropeway safety and management to protect it safety, China Special Equipment Research Institute set up a subject to research " passenger ropeway critical components on-line remote inspection and monitoring system".In this paper, the main work areas: a key component of the passenger tramway line telemetry and monitoring systems design and software development.
